His journey began in 1995 when he embarked on his path as a whisky connoisseur, enthusiast, and collector. Over the years, he has participated in hundreds of whisky tasting events and distillery tours, honing his palate and deepening his understanding of this intricate field. In 2014, he co-founded The Cyprus Whisky Association and currently serves as its President. His leadership and expertise have been instrumental in promoting the appreciation of whisky in Cyprus and beyond. Since 2018, Demetris has been honored with an invitation to serve as a judge in the World Whisky Awards and Speyside Festival Awards.

Nikos Voskarides is a professional in the field of real estate appraisals, with a background in Banking and Finance, and extensive experience in the Business and Culinary sectors. Born into a family of land farmers from Morphou, his upbringing significantly influenced his perspective on the value of cultivating goods. Spending countless hours in the fields with his father, he learned that achieving high-quality results requires effort, persistence, patience, and exceptional raw materials.

While pursuing his studies, Nikos simultaneously honed his skills in the culinary arts, working in prestigious hotels and restaurants, and gaining valuable experience in hospitality. His passion for discovering and exploring new flavours led him to open his own Greek food restaurant in 2002, followed by a second establishment specializing in food and wine pairing events. He ensured each guest received exceptional service in a friendly atmosphere.

Since then, Nikos has been continuously researching wine characteristics and origins, studying and travelling to various vineyards and wineries to deepen his understanding of different variations and regions. In addition to local wineries, he frequently visits wineries across Greece, Italy, France, and whiskey distilleries in Scotland, attending tastings and exhibitions to expand his knowledge of the vinification and distillation processes.

Since 2014, Nikos has been an active member of the Cyprus Whisky Association, organizing, consulting, and participating in tasting events, leveraging his extensive experience and knowledge.
